This is a subject which continues to come up in just about every Gang Conference here in Calif. We have an alarming number of Gang Members sporting the “Red Lip” tattoos. These tattoos are normally located either on the neck or chest area. The claim is the lips form the number “13″. After conducting numerous interviews w/ various Gang members I have been provided the following information:
The majority of Gang members claimed the “Red Lips” were symbolizing their girlfriend’s/Wife’s last kiss before the Gang member goes away (is incarcerated). this matter is still being investigated.
