Get Your Confidence Back With Nipple Restoration
Author: Semi Permanent
Many women opt for breast Restoration after mastectomy and as part of this process choose to have the nipple and areola created to complete the breast Restoration process.
Prior to the Restoration procedure a consultation will determine the most pleasing colour, position, form and size for the nipple and the areola. These factors are influenced by:· Whether one or both of the breasts are to be reconstructed · Whether the surgeon has surgically created a nipple that requires pigmenting to complete the appearance of the nipple and areola.
If only one breast has been reconstructed, to create the most natural looking result, pigments are custom blended to match with the existing nipple and areola.
Talking about the process of Nipple Restoration Topical anesthetics are applied prior to the medical tattooing process to reduce the pricking sensation. However, in many of the cases full sensation may not have been restored following the reconstructive surgery and hence the patient feels very little. The nipple and areola are created initially on the breast mound using a surgical marker and only when patient indicates that she is content with the position and form only then medical tattooing procedure commences. The pigment infusion process normally takes 60 to 70 minutes and does not even require admitting the patient to hospital.
Once you are done with Nipple Restoration Post procedure care is simple. Patients need to apply an antiseptic cream twice a day and keep the nipple and areola covered with sterile gauze for two days. A follow up procedure is normally required after a four to six week in order to allow final adjustments to be made to the shape and colour of the nipple and areola.
To improve the appearance of post-surgical scarring around circumference of the areola due to Nipple Restoration or breast uplift surgery, custom matched pigments are infused through the areola outward into the scar tissue to camouflage the scar.
For men and women who have areolas that are too small, asymmetrical or too pale or without definition cosmetic tattooing can achieve a balanced shape, even colouring and the clarity.

What is the best Camouflage cream to cover Vitiligo?
My beautiful wife has got Vitiligo (she is losing the skin pigment in her skin) and it is really getting her down. What is the best camouflage cream for her to use. If you have used some for Vitiligo or to cover a tattoo or scar, what did you use and what did you think of it?
thank you in advance for you help.
I’ve got Vitiligo on my arms and shoulders. It also shows through my hair (It’s brown with a white streak).
I’ve never done anything to cover it, it’s nothing to be ashamed of or feel awkward about.
Your wife is beautiful anyway!
how can you hide a scar without cosmetic camouflage?
last summer i had a henna tattoo and i’m super allergic to ppd and i was unaware of my allergy.
the henna burned into my skin,
and now i have a huge scar the size of my whole forearm.
i hate and i want to hide it but i don’t really now how.
i don’t want to use cosmetic camouflage because i’m allergic to almost everything.
please help
Salicylic acid might work. I use it on my face for an even skin tone. I buy mine on ebay from maggme100 and it’s like 10 bucks, It’s the only thing that has ever worked for me! Good luck!
Can you tattoo over scar tissue?
There are multiple scars on my thigh, and I was considering getting a tattoo to camouflage them is this possible?
It really depends on the scars and the artist’s experience. Scars need to be old, about a year old, and need to be completely settled. If you tattoo over new scars you take the risk of causing more damage, and the ink can potentially migrate outside of the intended area. Not all artists are good at tattooing scar tissue, especially those with heavy hands. In order for the tattoo to take well, the artist needs to have a soft touch when tattooing, and not aggravate the scar tissue. Just because you tattoo over the scars, doesn’t mean the ink will take, and there’s no guarantee that it will camouflage the scars, it may actually make it worse, ruining the tattoo design all-together. Your best bet would be to go to a shop and have an artist look at them. You say multiple scars, which may make it even harder to do.
permanent tattoo makeup to camouflage scars..has anyone tried this?
i have a small scar right below my nose.i dont think you can remove it but i want to make it invisible with permanent makeup.how good were the results and how much did it cost ?
who would you recommend?
thank you
honestly i know people who have had the permanent makeup stuff tattooed and you might like it at first but as you get older your body grows and as you grow your tattoo moves. i know someone who had that lip liner tattoo and her lip liner tattoo isnt even on her lips anymore. lol. its horrible. but it looks good at first but in the end you will regret it. so i wouldnt recommend it. but good luck!
